HY-8275 two-component polyurethane dry-type lamination adhesive

1. Summary:
HY-8275 common adhesive is suitable for the lamination between the expected treated BOPP, PET, PA and other films and CPP, PE and other films. It has good peel strength and good transparency. The lamination film effect is colorless, odorless and has good transparency.
2. Physical properties:

Product Name: HY-8275(A) HY-8275(B)
Category: Main agent  Hardener
Appearance: Light yellow transparent liquid Light yellow transparent liquid
Solid content: 75±2% 75±2%
Viscosity: 2000-3500MPa.S (25℃) 1500-2500MPa.S (25℃)
Solvent: Ethyl acetate Ethyl acetate

Glue ratio:
Ethyl acetate is used as solvent, and the water content in ethyl acetate is required to be ≤300ppm. The order of glue preparation is: a certain amount of ethyl acetate → a certain amount of main agent (component A), stir evenly, add a certain amount of curing agent (component B), and stir thoroughly. It is recommended to use the ratio (mass fraction) component A: component B = 5:1. The mass of the diluent to be added can be calculated according to the following formula:

Where: Wdiluent- the mass of the ethyl acetate used; Wmain- the mass of the main agent (i.e. component A); Wsolid- the mass of the curing agent (i.e. component B); N-the determined working concentration of the glue (%)
coating amount
This adhesive is suitable for any dry laminating machine of the wire roller. According to the purpose of use of the lamination product or the different lamination materials, its dry basis coating amount can be selected between 2-5g/㎡. For lamination products with special functions, the amount of glue should be adjusted accordingly. Generally, when there is no resistance to contents, the coating amount can be less, and when resistance to contents or a certain bag breaking strength is required, the coating amount should be increased.
Working concentration
The recommended working concentration is: 25-40%, the commonly used working solution concentration reference table:

Working concentration Main agent (KG) Curing agent (KG) Ethyl acetate (KG)
40% 5 1 5.3
35% 5 1 6.9
30% 5 1 9.0
25% 5 1 12.0

lamination
The working glue liquid is evenly coated on the lamination film with a glue roller by using a lamination machine, and then heated and dried by a gradient drying tunnel. After the solvent evaporates, hot pressing and lamination are carried out. The temperature of the lamination roller is generally controlled at 50-60℃. The temperature control is related to the heat resistance and thickness of the film. The lamination pressure is generally controlled at 0.2-0.6Mpa. In principle, the lamination pressure and the temperature of the roller should be increased as much as possible without damaging the film.
Ripening
This product does not have its proper adhesive properties immediately after lamination. It needs to be sent to the aging room to promote the reaction. It needs to be aged for 12 to 24 hours at a temperature of 50-60℃ to achieve its proper lamination strength.
Storage
Store in a sealed, cool, ventilated and dry place. The storage period is 12 months.
When the glue liquid is turbid and agglomerated, it cannot be used.
It is strictly forbidden to mix water and other substances.
This product is flammable and should be stored in a fireproof manner.
Notes
1. The adhesive film must be corona treated, that is, corona discharge is performed at a high voltage of 15-40kV and a high frequency of 5-110kHz to make the surface tension of the film reach more than 40mN/m. The type and concentration of film additives (slip agents, antioxidants, antistatic agents, plasticizers, etc.) also have different degrees of influence on the bonding strength of the lamination film, so they must be selected before use.
2. The applicable period of the prepared adhesive depends on the solid content of the adhesive, the storage temperature, the water content in the diluent, etc. Generally, the prepared adhesive is stored in a sealed container, and there is no obvious viscosity increase for 24 hours to 48 hours. Adhesives that have exceeded their service life or old glue in the glue barrel will have an adverse effect on the quality of the lamination product.
3. In principle, the remaining liquid cannot be used, so the minimum amount of glue should be prepared according to the processing quantity. In case of excessive residual liquid, please dilute it with several times the solvent and place it in a dark place. Use it as a diluent for ordinary lamination the next day. If it is turbid or sticky, it cannot be used.
4. Do not mix this product with other adhesives. If necessary, please consult our technical department.
5. The operating conditions, lamination process, usage methods, and performance data in this technical data are all obtained by the test of our technical department.
