1. Summary:
HY-6816 adhesive is a high solid content, low viscosity polyurethane adhesive with good leveling and high peel strength. It can be used with a high mesh screen roller at high concentration, saving solvent usage, saving production costs, and having lower residual content.

3. Features:
1. This product has good initial adhesion and can be used at 20-40% solid content.
2. This product has good mechanical processing performance and wetting performance, and the lamination products have high bonding strength.
3. The lamination products made with this product have good transparency and elasticity, are resistant to aging and odorless.
4. Instructions for use:
Mixing ratio (mass fraction) Component A: Component B = 5:1 (common usage)
Solvent: The appropriate solvent is ethyl acetate (benzene can also be used, but it is strictly prohibited to use in food-grade and medical-grade packaging) The water content in the solvent shall not exceed 300ppm, especially for the lamination film with high manufacturing quality requirements.
Amount of component A × 75% + amount of component B × 75% amount of solvent: ————————————————— — (amount of component A + amount of component B) Adhesive working concentration (%) Dilution requirements: Add the appropriate solvent to component A first, (component A: solvent = 1: 0.7-1) and stir thoroughly, then add the curing agent component B (component A: component B = 5: 1) to the diluted component A and stir thoroughly (when lamination in rainy days and in an environment with high humidity, the amount of curing agent should be increased by 5%-10%). Note: Component B (curing agent), more than 1 part, will have a certain effect on the wire drawing of the waste after cutting, but can increase the lamination strength. Applicable period: The applicable period of the prepared adhesive depends on the solid content of the adhesive, the storage temperature and the water content of the diluent. Generally, the prepared adhesive is stored in a sealed container, and there is no obvious viscosity increase for 24 hours. Adhesives that have exceeded their service life or old glue in the glue barrel will have an adverse effect on the quality of the lamination product.
Residual glue: In principle, the residual liquid cannot be used, so the minimum amount of glue should be prepared according to the processing quantity. In case of excessive residual liquid, please dilute it with several times of solvent and place it in a dark place. The next day, add a small amount (about 20%) as a diluent for ordinary lamination. If it is turbid or sticky, it cannot be used.
Coating: It can be suitable for dry laminating machines with 150-180 mesh screen rollers (under the condition of unchanged lamination area and peel strength, each ton of adhesive can save 8,000-10,000 yuan in production cost).
Coating amount: In order to meet the different requirements of the purpose of use and material composition of lamination products, the coating amount is expected to be selected between 2-5g/㎡. For lamination films that need to be hot-processed or deeply formed, the coating amount should be larger, otherwise it should be smaller. For printed films, the coating amount should be adjusted accordingly.
Working concentration: The working concentration can be selected between 20-40% according to the coating amount and screen roller depth.
lamination and curing: The film coated with adhesive is dried in a gradient drying oven at 50-80℃. The temperature of the lamination roller is controlled at 50-60℃, and the lamination pressure is 0.25-0.4Mpa (the lamination pressure and roller temperature should be increased as much as possible without damaging the film). After lamination, the adhesive does not immediately have its proper adhesive properties. It needs to be cured in a curing room at 50℃-60℃ for 12-24 hours to reach its highest lamination strength.
V. Packaging and storage:
HY-6816 main agent 20Kg, HY-6816 curing agent 4Kg. Store in a cool, ventilated and dry place with intact packaging without opening. The storage period is 12 months.
VI. Notes:
1. The coated film must be corona treated, that is, corona discharge is performed under a high voltage of 15-40kV and a high frequency of 5-110kHz to make the surface tension of the film reach more than 40mN/m. The type and concentration of film additives (lubricants, antioxidants, antistatic agents, plasticizers, etc.) will also have different degrees of influence on the bonding strength of the lamination film, so they must be selected before use.
